THE DB9
Launched in 2003 as successor to the DB7, the DB9 was the first model to be built at Aston Martin's new factory at Gaydon, Warwickshire. Like its predecessor, the DB9 was styled by Ian Callum, with finishing touches applied by Henrik Fisker. The DB9 featured a mix of aluminum and composite body panels installed over an extruded aluminum spaceframe., which was robotically assembled using a combination of self-piercing rivets and adhesive. Although some 25% lighter than that of the DB7, this advanced bodyshell possesses double the structural stiffness.
The DB9 was powered by a development of the 5.9-litre, 48-valve, V12 engine found in the DB7 Vantage producing 470bhp, an output sufficient to propel the aerodynamic coupé to a top speed of 306km/h (190mph) with 60mph attainable from a standing start in a neck-snapping 4.8 seconds. The aluminium engine was mounted as far back as possible in the chassis, while the transmission/final drive was positioned ahead of the rear axle, resulting in 85% of the car's mass being sited between the axles and a perfect 50/50 front/rear weight distribution. Transmission options were a six-speed manual or six-speed 'Touchtronic 2' semi-automatic.

THIS DB9
This stunning example is finished in Titanium Silver, complemented by an Obsidian Black leather-trimmed interior. The exterior features a Tungsten grille, hood vents, fender vents, LED tail lights, and dual exhaust outlets, giving it a sleek and aggressive stance. It rides on 19-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels, which house silver-painted calipers and are fitted with new Bridgestone tires.
Originally delivered to the Netherlands in 2004, this Aston Martin made its way to Belgium around 2012, where it was acquired by its current owner, who has now entrusted us with its sale.
Inside, the DB9 is equipped with all the luxury features you'd expect, including rear parking sensors, air conditioning, electrically adjustable seats, and a pop-up infotainment screen with satellite navigation. The bright grille finish adds a touch of sophistication to the exterior. The cabin boasts power-adjustable front seats, upholstered in black leather, while walnut wood trim accents the center stack and door panels.
Please note that some areas of the headliner are beginning to lift, and photos of these imperfections are included in the gallery for transparency.
The car has been recently recommissioned after being stored and has covered +- 200 km since. It starts instantly and runs beautifully, with an intoxicating exhaust note that perfectly complements its performance. The sale includes the service book and invoices, further attesting to its condition.
This Aston Martin DB9 is a desirable example of the marque's effortlessly refined modern classic grand tourer. With only 35.000 kilometers on the odometer, it’s in perfect readiness for its new owner. It would make a valuable addition to any collection, and requires nothing to be immediately enjoyed, whether as an elegant weekend cruiser or a long-distance touring companion.
The car currently has Belgian registration and is sold on behalf of our client.
